Its transmission maintenance time! Been enjoy
FPV driving for years now but when it comes to maintenance of 4WD/AWD drivetrains they are nightmare to take care; parts worn out faster and every maintenance took chunks of money out of my pocket. Costly culprit mostly at differential drive cups and CVD drive shafts especially for models that have independent suspension system. However the advantages of 4WD/AWD transmission is they are good at bailing out from being stuck at difficult terrains which is ideal of FPV driving. Fortunately i never had to do maintenance
nor any parts replacement on my 2WD transmission type FPV models because they are much simplified to drive around on two wheels but it takes driver skills to move around difficult terrains. This season been enjoying FPV driving a 2WD models because they are thrilling to drive more than 2WD. If you wanted FPV or R/C ground models that lasts for life time go for 2WD. If you're going on 4WD or AWD prepare to stock up some parts for longevity.
